For A Friend Of Mine ----

Long break naa?? I know you guys missed me. And even if you didn't, just stroke my ego will ya?

So this friend of mine who I will not name for obvious reasons, sms'es me asking for help on a LOVE(*rolls eyes*) sms she wanted to send to her boyfriend for OBVIOUS reasons(*sheesh*). And she wanted me to add or edit the message due to my awesome talent at writing. Okay yeah i saw that, quit rolling your eyes :X

Anyways, I decided. Why not make a poem dedicated to the two of them? So here goes an experimental work USING the lines she gave me. And I should tell you, I am not that good at IN YOUR FACE love thingy, so this might come out a bit rusty but HEY! I am not the one in love :D

I Can Almost See You

You are but a word, still we can feel you,
Are you a melody of songs or just a thought?
Are you inside us like the breath of life?
Or are you just a dream in the world I have wrought?

She is far away, yet I feel her breath,
Her eyes on me like the morning glow.
In my heart she reaches for that inner flame,
She finds you there and you sing to her.
Caressing her with words only you can say,
We are washed away in the river's flow.

Are you just a word? Or are you something else?
Is it you that we feel when together we breathe?
Or is it you when our eyes speak without words?
Or were you the song I wrote for her,
That letter so true she wrote for me,
Are you the bridge over the deep seas between us?
Or are you the unspoken words waiting to fall?

I will know you, Love, when I see her again,
When in my soul shall roam her name again.
When all that is left are unsaid words,
We will find you again when our souls are one.
Till then, just tell her to wait
