Have you seen the patterns in the Ivy,
Or the shapes of clouds in the Moonlit Sky?
On nights with a breeze gentle and calm,
When the entire city was silent.
Your voice like petals of Roses pure,
Like the soft lights of a morning white.
Like music so soaring that makes heaven cry,
And yet so gentle like the Star's twinkling light.
You fall like rain beneath the failing Sun,
From rainless clouds over tears of the Earth.
Like rivulets of water through forests green,
You make me smile like a child in mirth.
You are my snowleaf, my snowfall, my rain,
The last light in my dying eyes.
Yet you are far away like a winter warm,
Like the faraway moon, far do you lie.
